Our purpose is to enjoy our horses and breed a few exceptional quality AQHA & APHA foals for show, trail and companionship.
The majority of our horses are foundation bred with a size and disposition suited to almost any Western performance event. Once in awhile, one comes along suited to the Hunter disciplines. If the disposition and movement are right, size and saddle don't really matter.
We are striving for a naturally quiet, accepting horse that comes as close as one can to training itself. This is the kind that when you put a halter on for the first time as a baby, it follows. This is the kind that when you put a saddle and bridle on for the first time as a two year old and step up, it walks out and follows its head.
In addition, we are targeting a long, low stride originating from the shoulder in front and stifle and gaskin behind. These horses are comfortable to ride and highly athletic, capable of pleasure, reining or cutting.
The horses that come closest to achieving our goals have mostly been King P234, Hancock and/or Skipper W bred. We are striving to maintain these bloodlines while judiciously adding some of the best of modern pleasure and performance breeding, including Coosa Lad, Man in Command, Natural Iron and Zippo Pine Bar.
We currently have a couple of well bred horses for sale.
In addition, we hope in the near future to offer the services of one or two high quality performance bred stallions.
Our two broodmares are listed on the home page and the memory page pays tribute to two top mare that are no longer with us, but who added greatly to our appreciation of an athletic horse.
